Welcome to the 'Strait of Canso - Economic Development Studies' online collection. We have collected more than 600 reports from all over the province of Nova Scotia regarding studies from the Strait of Canso area. These reports span the last 60 years and cover everything from economic development to environmental studies.

The studies are categorized under the above menu bar, all of them have summaries and some have been scanned and saved in a digital (.pdf) format. You will need Adobe Reader installed on your computer to read .pdf files. The Adobe .pdf files range in size from 1-96Mb and could take up to 10 minutes or more to download, please be patient when the new window opens.

While we tried to include as many reports as we could, some of the studies were outside the focus of this project. We are adding these miscellaneous reports in generalized format, categorized by where the hard copy of the report can be found. Please click here to see the miscellaneous reports.
